How long have you been at Undertone?
I’ve been here for nearly four years (May)
How has your career grown during your time here?
I started as a Senior Account Executive and the only salesperson on the team in Boston. I have grown the Northeast team to five people and now have taken on a senior management role within the entire organization. So my career has grown exponentially since joining the team!
What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time here?
I am most proud of growing the Northeast territory from one person to the most successful (as it relates to quota attainment) region in the company over only a two year period.
What has been your biggest challenge while working here?
The biggest challenge has been working to stay relevant and position Undertone as a must-buy solution for clients and agencies in this ever-changing media landscape.
Where do you see the future of your field heading?
AdTech is in such an interesting industry right now. It changes so frequently, which has made it hard for companies in our space to stay relevant. Both advertisers and marketers will have to continue to develop their programmatic technologies and offerings to optimize the potential data, make intelligent use of that data, and leverage artificial intelligence. But at the end of the day, it is always about improving the experience for the customers who are increasingly characterized by the captured data. So the industry needs to continue to find the balance between that data and the emotional engagement of the consumer with the personalized messages they are receiving. It’s an exciting time for sure!
What are you most excited about when it comes to Undertone’s future?
I am excited to be a part of Undertone’s evolution from a high impact format company to a synchronized digital solution for clients that can help them tell their story across multiple platforms through the voice of our creative capabilities.
What is your favorite thing about Undertone?
I love the people that are part of the Undertone family. In my four years, I have developed amazing working relationships with extremely talented and smart people. This is the best Sales team I have ever worked with. And at the same time, I have also become friends with so many members of the UT team.
What is the best thing about being a Boston Undertoner?
There are so many great things about being a Boston Undertoner. It is such an awesome city in which to be representing our company. The Boston advertising community is so close-knit, and I love that we are a truly trusted partner for so many of the clients and agencies here. But if I had to pick the best thing, it is that I am lucky enough to have a team that is made up of amazingly talented people who are motivated and work extremely hard to achieve their goals. Even better, they are really great people.
