Oily Skin? Make it Matte. Dry Skin? Here to Hydrate. This Sephora unit offers the user foundation products that are “just your type.” From the pre-IO stage, PIXL worked to provide mocks that could drive traffic and increase awareness around foundation at Sephora. The mocks highlighted video content and showcased some of our functionalities that were new to the Sephora brand. The client loved the mocks so much that they wanted to repurpose the concept for post-IO, but use the new branding, videos, and imagery. The final creative features a video intro and a mattifying/hydrating split screen. When the user selects the foundation type from the split screen, the end frame resolves to show the video player, featured product image, description, and a “Shop Now” CTA.
